I was drawn to this class because of my love of Disney movies and Fairy Tales. I read Aesop Fables as a little girl. The first book I bought for my children was Mother Goose's Fairy Tales. I have read the original Alice's Adventures in Wonderland multiple times, along with the Wonder series and Alice in Zombieland. I look forward to retelling these stories with my own spin.

I chose this image, because the Cheshire Cat is my favorite character from my favorite book. He is the pet of the Duchess. Disney turns him into an instigator. Wonder makes him a murderer. The complexities of his character are endless.
