Reading Notes B: Adam and Eve

Entering the Cave of Treasures from The Forgotten Books of Eden by Rutherford H. Platt Jr

  • 5500 years before a savior. Would that make this 5500 BC then?
  • Cherub guarding the gate to Eden with a fiery sword.
  • Adam is a whiny bitch.

The Beasts of the Creation from The Forgotten Books of Eden by Rutherford H. Platt Jr
  • If all beasts were created by God and named by Adam, and ordered by God to not harm Adam and Eve, why do bears, cougars and wolves attack?
  • Adam and Eve lost the ability to see God and angels after they ate of the tree of life. They are told this is because is because of their sin. Is that why children are more likely to see angels and ghosts, because they have not yet closed themselves off through sin?
Worship and Blessing from The Forgotten Books fo Eden by Rutherford H Platt Jr
  • alter prayers - offer their own blood
  • God's promise to return the gifts from the offer with his own flesh and blood
  • God forbid Adam's continuous suicide attempts. Maybe that's why it is a sin.
If I am being honest, these notes are less thinking like a writer and more questions of theology. Much of this information subtly differs from what I remember from catechism.
